Pe-taway-wo-tung, later called John Pedwadum, was said to be born in Jan 1834 in Michigan. John's death certificate indentifies his parents as Mitchel Ostaywa and Mary; while the Durant Roll Field Notes give his mother as Pe-nay-se-wow-no-quay.
John Bidwewidam of Eagleton married Sophia Wabinagokwe, also of Eagleton, on 20 Nov 1855 at the Catholic Church in Eagletown.
