The Durant Roll
lists two children as students at the Hayward School in Wisconsin in
1908.

They are the
children of Louis Cartwright who resides in Odanah, Wisconsin. All
three are enrolled with the L’Anse Chippewas.
The 1910 federal census lists all the students as being born in Wisconsin, including Sophia above.
