Brother Charles was said to be born 25 Jan 1897. [This is the date he gave on both WWI and WWII draft cards.]

Brother William Philip was said to be born 19 Aug 1899 in Freesoil, Mason, Michigan [This is the date he gave on both WWI & WWII draft cards, but he is not listed in 1900 census].

There are so many errors in this census record it's hard to trust any of it. 

Name was John Wesley not Wesley John. Children are Frank and Emma. Mary had 8 children. Blood count wrong.

Name was Lizzie Wilson not Mary, her and Jim's birth off by a decade, children are Roger and Charles. William was missing if born in 1899. Blood count wrong. 

Sister Addie was born 19 Aug 1900 in Grant, Mason, Michigan

Addie died before the Durant Roll was taken in 1908.

Sister Nancy was born abt 1904

An unnamed sister was born 3 Jul 1906 in Grant, Mason, Michigan. Sadly she died 15 Jul 1906 in Grant.

Sister Sarah was born 29 Jun 1907 in Grant, Mason, Michigan. Her baptism was recorded in the Riverton Indian Church Registry.

Father James drowned in Hamlin lake and was found 4 Aug 1907 in Mason county, Michigan

Record from the Rye Funeral Home states James was buried in P.F. (potters field).

On 11 Jan 1908, Roger, 13,  and brothers Charles, 11, and William, 8, were admitted to Mount Pleasant Indian Industrial Boarding School for a period of three years. The boys are listed as Ottawa, parent Mrs. Lizzie Wilson of Freesoil.

Roger registered for the draft on 5 Jun 1918 in Eagle River, Vilas, Wisconsin. He gave his birth as 12 Nov 1897 in Fountain, Michigan, his father's birth as Canada, employer as Hackley Phelps Bonnell company. He was described as medium height and build, brown eyes and dark hair.

As a resident of Phelps and an employee of Hackley Phelps Bonnell, Roger and his family would have shopped at the company store.
