O-nay-naw-goonse / Alexander

 

Onay-naw-goonse, who later used the name Alexander was probably born near the present site of Harbor Springs.

The 1839 Annuity Roll finds #62, O nay nay gonce, one man, one woman, two children, receiving $26.52, living at L'Arbre Croche. The village had 84 families, a total of 317 individuals.

The next available record is the 1855 land allotment.
